Christ Institute of Media Science (CIMS) established in 2024 with the vision of "Transforming Media for a wholesome world", CIMS is the first university-affiliated media college in north India.
CIMS operates as a self-financing college affiliated with Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University, Bhopal, and holds approval from the higher education department, Government of MP. The college is under the ownership and management of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), known for overseeing reputable educational institutions such as SB College, Assumption College, and seven others, as well as more than 120 schools. CIMS pioneers media education in India, offering four undergraduate and two postgraduate programs tailored for media-related careers. These programs cover areas such as:

CIMS is committed to the mission of providing trained professionals with personal and professional integrity to the media and entertainment industries. Professionals with integrity means well qualified and skilled people who can utilize their knowledge, skills and talents for the betterment of the society; who can uphold the moral values and stand for the right; who can give voice to the voiceless; and in whom there is no dichotomy between what he/she believes and what he/she does.
